Few family sports dynasties can rival that of the Williams sisters, whose domination of the tennis world shot them to rock-star status earlier in the decade. Injuries had kept the ladies deceptively low in the rankings the past few years, but both sisters made strong showings in 2007. Venus just won the singles title at Wimbledon, and little sister Serena won the Australian Open earlier this year. Catch Serena Williams on her ascent as she plays for the St. Louis Aces at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center in Forest Park (5620 Grand Drive). The gates open at 5:30 p.m., and the first match begins at 7:15 p.m. Tickets are $60 and can be purchased by calling MetroTix at 314-534-1111 or by visiting www.metrotix.com. For more information on the St. Louis Aces, visit www.stlouisaces.com.
